Seems to be limited info on this and when you google 7PXR it links you to the 7PX LE

Now I’m not sure on the correct mode reference numbers so maybe a 7PX LE is a 7PXR but it’s certainly not the newly announced model with the slightly button change and red backlighting.

I currently run the 7PX so was after info on functions and capabilities above this the new 7PXR has?!

They're different but some retailers don't know the difference and have labelled the 7PX LE as the 7PXR.

So looks to be more visual and material change then anything else!

the trigger sounds interesting but not sure that alone will warrant the swap.

I wish they would stop doing the fake carbon finish. The Piano Black and Black Chrome were their best finishes, the Faux Carbon makes it look gaudy! Excited to see how it compares to the regular 7PX. Wonder also if Futaba USA is up to speed on this yet given their trend of becoming more distanced from the Customer Base with their abysmal Support. Curious if with this update the 7XC will get some new Firmware updates as well.

Prepare for bargains to be had on some 7PX radios lol.

I was under the impression the new wheel mount is actually CF?!

But I do echo your sentiment on the CF effect, it’s the sole reason I didn’t go for the LE, instead I went for the standard and fitted the alum wheel mount and trigger.

You can clearly see in the picture a few posts ago that it's a pretty bad faux-carbon effect.

Maybe it is listed in the manual because in the manual there is most of the time a huge list of specifications, download it an see if you can find it.
